JoAnne Sharples, founder of Quality Custom Home Builders, was raised in the industry. Her father had been in the trades, and JoAnne spent her childhood absorbing knowledge about construction that now is just an integral part of who she is. Building homes is in her blood. JoAnne also spent two decades in real estate sales. She even married a man in the construction business. JoAnne says, “We both felt that quality in workmanship and materials were #1 priority, so that’s how our name came about.” Today JoAnne and her crew are a powerful team that deeply understands all aspects of the home building and home buying experience, sharing a deep commitment to maintaining Quality in everything they do.

Dave Morman comes from a family with three generations of carpenters and craftsmen. After several years in sales and management, Dave returned to his roots in carpentry. He began in the late 1980’s as a contractor focusing on trim and finish carpentry work for Quality Custom Home Builders and other Omaha residential and commercial builders. Dave says, “Knowing what a finished product should be creates a successful business and a satisfied customer, builder, and homeowner.” In 1995 Dave entered into a partnership with Quality Custom Home Builders, dedicated solely to the success of the company and the satisfaction of each home owner. From start to finish, Dave knows what it takes to build a Quality home!

Gavin Sharples has been a part of Quality Custom Home Builders since he was an eager young boy, helping his dad dig footings and set foundations at the home sites. By his dad’s side, Gavin learned the ABC’s of quality construction and discovered first-hand the importance of building long-lasting homes that endure a lifetime.
This commitment to quality in all areas of life followed Gavin to the Middle East in the early 90’s when he served his country in the Gulf War. Returning to civilian life after eight years in the Navy, Gavin came back to help the family business, doing everything from computer systems administrator to electrical work and punch lists. In addition to earning his Bachelor’s degree from Omaha’s Bellevue University, Gavin also has his real estate license. Having transitioned into the sales department, Gavin brings to Quality Custom Home Builders hands-on experience in new home construction and both his personal and professional high-standards of excellence.
